Big Birthday Bash

I am often asked if I photograph weddings or parties, and I always decline.  However...I do make one annual exception - Taylor B.'s birthday party held at Donald Trump's mar-a-lago estate.  How could anyone resist a photo shoot in Florida...and photographing a birthday party like this?!!

The grand entrance...

Last year's theme was Winter Wonderland, complete with ice slides and the Cirque du Soleil performing on ice.  Who would have thought that this year's Asian theme would be just as spectacular?!

There were at least ten cakes, but this one was the best!

Amazing performances by the Cirque...

Plenty of carnival rides and activities...

 

And five hundred guests and their kiddos having fun!

Not to mention the cheerleading squads, marching bands, chinese dragons, wonderful food, and celebrity sightings!  Wow - it was amazing!

I've been asked to brainstorm for themes for next year's party...anyone have suggestions?  :)

More I adore

I usually have an opinion about black and white versus color for each image, but this one I am stuck on - I adore both!

I really like how this images shows her strong attachment to mom!

I love so many from this session - I wish I could show them all!  She was such a sweetheart.

I am so excited to share the results of this week's featured shoot!  This is one of my all time favorite captured expressions...

And *sigh*.  I miss having a newborn...well, you know, except for the sleepless nights!
