Sweet Asa

Asa and his mom drove all the way from North Carolina for our session!  I have to say that this mom was one of the sweetest and calmest clients I've ever worked with. Her son is sooo easy going and calm himself...I'm sure part is due to chance, but I do bet that her presence has something to do with it too. Her patience and gentleness reminds me of the kind of mom I want to be.

So many babies!

This must be the season for babies - I have photographed a lot of newborns and six to nine month olds lately - I love it!  Here are a few sneak peeks...

Meet Elle...so lovely and so sleepy (after what I hear was a three hour awake stretch before I arrived!).  Her parents are so in love with her...I'm sure you can see why!

And next is a sneak peek for a sibling group of six!  They are all such neat kids...I will definitely feature each of them separately soon, but here are a few of the newest member and the whole gang...

Many times coaxing just my own two children to sit near each other is like nailing jello to a wall...so I consider this an incredible feat...

And this next image may be featured somewhere very exciting in the near future!!!  Don't worry...I'll let you all in on the secret soon!

I can't wait to show more of this family later on!  They were great to work with!

Mothers' Day Part Three - family time

I had the pleasure of photographing one of my favorite moms and her family for the second year in a row.  This sweet mom had warned me about her two year old being difficult...and I reassured her that I am very used to two year old boys (I have one at home!).  But I will admit...little Andrew gave us all a good workout!  Yet it was well worth it...look at this grin!

As much as he is attached to his mom, I think Andrew has a good bit of "daddy's boy" in him...

Kelsey is a bit taller than last year, but still the same sweetheart!

We had a great time together!

Mothers' Day Part Two - A classic beauty and a gorgeous tomboy

One of my clients pointed out that receiving her session gallery this weekend will be a great Mothers' Day present!  I happen to have a lot of session galleries starting soon...so this is my sort of tribute to the wonderful moms out there...

Here are Olivia and Sophia...two talented young ladies who (I bet) have no idea how lovely they are...inside and out.  I had a wonderful time getting to know both of them!

We tried for some serious looks too...but they are two of the giggliest girls that I've ever met - they couldn't hold in the laughter!

Sophia is a total tomboy...her mom and sister went on a J. Crew shopping spree and picked out some cool "boy" clothes for her...I love it!

Mothers' Day Part One - Tea for two...and an adorable baby!

I had so much fun with Kate, Anna, and Meredith!  We started off the morning with tea...

These two couldn't keep from giggling - I love this one!

And we finished off the day in a buggy...so cute!  (Because I only have boys of my own, I especially love it when I get the chance to hang out with girls...it gives me the "pink fix" that I need!)
