Doo-doo-de-doo... (that's a horn tooting!)

And the reason for the horn toot?? Some very exciting news...

Blue Candy's work has been published again!!!

I am honored to be among the amazing group of photographers included in the book by Ginny Felch and Allison Tyler Jones. Some of the other talented contributors include the amazing Jeff and Julia Woods, Marianne Drenthe (who I had the good fortune to meet last fall!), Lisa Russo, Laura Cottrill, Melanie Sikma, and Kim Heffington. A special thanks to the famous inventor of the Photo Workshop series Robert Farber and to Wiley Publishing for asking me to serve as the resident "photography expert" during the editing process. Did I mention that I was honored to be part of this fantastic project?? :)

I know that some very proud Blue Candy parents have been waiting for this book to hit the shelves to see the photographs that were selected of their own kiddos. And let me assure you, since I've just received my own treasured copy, that it was worth the wait! Happy reading... :)

That is fantastic! I cannot wait to get my hands on that book. I'm familiar with the series because a friend of mine wrote "Lighting" in this series and I know the content of these books are very helpful. Congratulations!

Thank you, Stacy, for being a part of this project and continually stunning me with your great photos. I think you need to show the back cover too... ;)

Congratulations Stacy! What a great honor. I hope to see the book sometime.

Oooh, yay! Congrats to you!!!

Thank you so much for promoting my book. I love your photographs in it.

I was so thrilled when my friend, Robert Farber, asked me to write this book on the inspiration and creativity of photographing children - something I have been doing and teaching for 30 years! I love having such a breadth of photography in the book, from classic to contemporary.

Your work is fresh and bright!

All the best, Ginny

Congrats Stacy, that is wonderful!

Wonderful Stacy, congrats!! :)

I just purchased this book and I am loving it! I'm getting ready to start my photography business and there has been great tips :)

i bought this book and i've skimmed through parts of it, and I LOVE it so far. You said in your most recent post that the twins were featured in the book. Which picture was it?

Thanks Jessica - I'm glad that you are enjoying the book! The twins are with their mom in a mirror shot, though they are a bit smaller as it was from their shoot last year. It has always been one of my favorite shots though!

Kristin, I'm glad that you're finding the book helpful too! :)

YAY! Congratulations, Stacy!!! That's fantastic! Can't wait to get my hands on this one! :)
